It's really cliched nowadays to be like "we're an 'original' 'hip-hop' band that is 'sick of the nonsense' on 'the radio'". Yes, we probably won't sound like anything on rap stations. However, we will never define ourselves by what we are not. Maybe, you'll hear a Curtis Mayfield hornline slightly modified or some Roy Ayers interpreted.
