TAU is the discovery of six men, in their mid-twenties, whose circumstances are the result of one intense collective desire: to unearth a new breed of rock and roll. Massive sounds of earth and atmosphere are borne out of the band's Odysseyan history and rich musical influences--tempered by the narrative of drastically differing personal experiences. A percussionist from Paradise, CA, a bassist out of Ohio, and four Boston area transplants (drums, keys, guitar, and vox) create songs that are exploding with otherworldly electricity yet grounded by inevitable East coast grooves. It's a jam band with ferocity. It's a rock band without limits. And it's just scratching the surface.
