Stranger than Fiction is probably what you would consider a well-rounded rock band. Picture every song being a transfusion of the best aspects of every rock genre. Every song is loaded with hints of metal, punk, rock, alt-rock (how many different types of rock are there?)!
Hard to place (but fun to hear), Stranger than Fiction is just that: Stranger than Fiction! (Not really... but you might like them!)
