As Fuzion’s following began to grow, the band felt a need to enhance their sound. They did so by recruiting Kevin Callahan. The result was the widely accepted "Legacy" E.P., one that saw Mike stepping out as a front man for the first time, an experience fans say intensified the music thundering behind him.
Shortly thereafter, the band caught the attention of a local film company, Alchemy Pictures. Recognizing their talent, Alchemy Pictures hired the band to score the soundtrack for their independent film, “Ordinary Madness.” The film provided Fuzion with a new outlet, playing in several festivals across the U.S.
Feeling the everlasting need to defy their musical boundaries, the band incorporated classically trained pianist and vocalist Lindsay Marchio. The result has received Fuzion’s highest compliments to date. In May of 2005, they played the Odeon Concert Club for the Cleveland Music Festival, and were one of eight bands showcased by the festival for outselling bands throughout the city.
Starting as a young, angry three-piece, Fuzion has evolved into a five-piece band with wisdom and style. Their decision to remain true to the music they love gives them an advantage over those who simply go with the trends. Many say there is something unattainable, unexplainable about their stage presence; something other bands reach for but seem unable to hold; something beyond flashing lights and gimics, so that when they walk off stage you know you have seen something real. Some say it is simply how true they are to their music, to each other, and to the world around them.
But when you see them play, you can decide for yourself.
