years. Led by singer/songwriter/guitarist Ralph Conte and Timmy Rehn
on bass guitar, with Tommy Rehn on drums, The Fun Guys songs feature clear, clever, inventive lyrics
with exciting vocal performances, highlighted with rhythmic, melodic
bass lines and tasty guitar parts. Ralph has been writing songs to rave
reviews for over 15 years and is a familiar face in the bars and clubs of
New York City’s West Village and Lower East Side. The group has an
extensive catalog of original material and is looking for a major distributor.
The Fun Guys gave high-powered, extremely successful performances at CBGB’s, Kenny’s Castaways, The Lions Den, The C-Note, The Baggott Inn, and Playland Park in 2004 and will begin playing live gigs again this summer.
Ralph Conte has played gigs with many great NYC musicians over the years
including veteran rock guitarist Doug Walker (formally of the Harry Chapin
Band). Ralph can be seen performing both cover and original music all over
NYC and the tri-state area. This prolific songwriter enjoys playing solo
acoustic as much as with his band The Fun Guys, and receives just as many
compliments on his music and performances, both solo acoustic and with
his band for both his original compositions and his groove oriented arrange-
ments of classic rock and blues standards.
