CALCiUM was envisioned by keyboardist, Richard McMahon (Formerly known as DJ Cranmore) when he witnessed a side project from False Trust's guitarist, Robert Parent. Robert Parent and Venezuela's Paul Spannow would get together every now and then to play music. When Mr. McMahon confronted Paul and Bob about forming a band they were more than delighted to become official. Once that happened, as a form of circumstance the band False Trust had mutually departed it's bass player, Brian Wilkins. Brian is adept at the guitar also, and started to practice with the newly formed band not-yet-named CALCiUM. The culmination of these heavy hitters formed a dynamic group of amazing talent and vision. Once CALCiUM was branded with that name, they signed up for the Emergenza Festival. Gerry Smith has now joined as a bass player from Winding Alibi. These five individuals formed CALCiUM.
