Singer/guitarist Blair and bass player Fuzz have been playing the Portland music scene since 1991. Though they have been through several band names and various other musicians, they have always stuck together and continued writing and recording songs. In 2002 they took a fresh approach and new direction with their songs, combining their influential roots. Blair’s background in Pop and New Wave, and Fuzz in Hard Rock and Alternative. Then they hooked up with Jay Martineau (former drummer of the Baltimore, Maryland band “Speed McQueen”) and Shawn DeCarlo (local Portland area guitar player/song writer) and formed the “UnPopular Club”. The band has played several venues around Portland including: The Tonic Lounge, Arnada Cafe, The Twilight Cafe, Ash St. Saloon, The Madhatter Lounge and even The Crystal Ballroom.
