Tomorrow’s Hero began in January 2004, in a classroom in “The City of Trees”, Burlingame, California. Gary concluded a speech presentation with a song he wrote, Charley, hearing his unique singing style asked him if he wanted to record the song at his house. Terrified but intrigued Gary agreed.

They decided to become a duo, making music for those who could understand and enjoy their sound. Charley, having musical background played bass, and Gary with his lyrical gifts, were ready to create something truly unique.

The bands name, “Tomorrow’s Hero” was chosen because Gary and his ex-girlfriend had just broken up when the band started to take shape. They choose the name so it would constantly remind him of her and the feelings he had of “first love” which is the theme and inspiration that keeps this band going. Break-ups and Make-ups are the confessions beneath the words and the messages they bring.

So Charley armed with his bass and Gary with his acoustic began playing at venues. But after a while they felt that they were missing something, a drummer and another guitarist. That is when they met Dan, a superb drummer and John a guitarist who could tear up the stage, with even the smallest of amps.

Only being around for a year, Tomorrow’s Hero has created a style of music and a sound that has fans and listeners around the country wanting more. Tomorrow’s Hero is a young band with a style that is not often found among local bands.

Their newest album, “Summers”, features several of their musical styles and song writing capabilities. Three of the tracks are home recordings and are up on the web at www.MySpace.com/TomorrowsHeroCa.
