Dave and Brandon founded Social Hero while they were in high school. Later, B-dao's younger brother, Griffin, joined the band as the lead guitarist. Dave and Brandon found Ray sleeping on a bench at the local petting zoo, and signed him up immediately after witnessing his phenomenal Llama riding skills (Llamas are NOT easy to ride). Ian Lloyd (Social Hero GodFather, also Dave's biological father) had a million selling record in '73 with band Stories' hit single "Brother Louie." In addition, Ian's voice can be heard with such artists as Billy Joel, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, and Yes to name a few.
