FIFTY50 was found 1998 in Leipzig. They combine old-school punkrock with rock’n’roll, skate-punk with power-pop and put their messages into powerful choruses. The various musical favours of each band member, the family-like atmosphere in the band and everybody’s input to the song-writing creates the typical and unique FIFTY50-sound. This energy is best perceived and experienced at one of their live shows.
Since their formation FIFTY50 organises all activities within band, DIY, from booking, web stuff, graphics and video to sound recording. In spring 2005 they produced a video to the song “my decision”, in the summer of 2005 they realized a US-tour and since 2005 FIFTY50 records their songs in their own FIFTY50 studio, which meanwhile is also popular by other bands for its pleasant recording atmosphere.
