warehouse in the village of Port Chester, NY, a band of miscreants with
nowhere else to go after the bars closed at 4 a.m., did the only thing they
could do... they made a punk rock record. The record would be the spark
that ignited the fire that is the boardlords. Song after song, show after
show, the band embarked on their never ending journey.
Stumbling recklessly from city to city, state to state, spreading their fire
at the winter X games in Mt Snow, VT, at the summer X games in Philadelphia,
at Skatopia in Rutland, OH, at 5.9 parties in Rhode Island, at the Hayes
Brothers parties at the US Open for Snowboarding at Stratton Mt, VT,at CBGBs in NYC, at the Tune in in New Haven, and the legendary Radillac in their hometown; the Boardlords have lit up the crowd wherever they've spread.
Blazing up stages with such legends as Agent Orange, D.I., 76% Uncertain,
Big World and Donkey Punch, and consuming their local scene with
incendiaries like Elvis McMan, Shangk, The Jaws, Shell Shock, Defcon 4, Def
Con 5, Patient 957 and The Brunch Mummies, The Boardlords char and scorch their surroundings.
And if you think that's enough fire metaphors, listen to this. The flames
burn higher.
Words are one thing, you can look into the eyes of the beast. From the
ignition, the band documented some of the hottest moments on stage and off
in two mocumentaries to date, and part three is stoking.
