Formed in October of 2004 by original members Justin Hetrick, Randy Talamantez, Matt Alvarez, and later joined, Josh Jenkinson, Unspoken Tragedy has undergone many changes in the roster. Starting off slow, the band began writing oringinal music, but due to personal issues, Justin and Randy felt it was necessary to leave. After months of changes in members, musical style, and only two complete songs, remaining members, Matt and Josh, felt the band was coming to an end. After a run in with drummer Jarrett Austin in February of 2005, the band found a new hope, but lacked a second guitarist, and talented vocalist. As a joke, a good friend, Steven Fowler, suggested that he take over the position of vocals. For the first few months, Steven's voice was projected through a megaphone that wasnt even owned by Steve himself. Horrible sound and the cost of batteries were not the only thing that was obscene about this, but it just all out looked rediculous. After some time, and a great improvement in vocals, Steve had purchased a PA System in order to finally be heard as he should. Although the band lacked a second guitarist, they had decided to move on, eventually played shows at venues such as Redrum, and the Vibe in Austin, Texas. Ironically, through many failed attempts to find a second guitarist, Justin Hetrick rejoined the band, and has been playing ever since. Due to other issues, Josh Jenkinson(Bass Guitar) left the band, and was replaced by the original drummer, Randy, finally completing the band. Unspoken Tragedy has since been writing new songs, moving in a different direction from the original 6 songs. With influences like Haste the Day, As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Still Remains, All That Remains, and many other Metalcore/Hardcore bands, Unspoken Tragedy mixes guitars that make you want to bang your head, vocals that seem to come from the depths of hell itself, and drums that not only get your blood boiling, they will have you slam dancing till the break of dawn. The band has now released a self titled demo, and has high hopes for putting Round Rock, TX, on the spot for one of the most distinctive Metalcore bands on the rise.
