Ikebana's sound recreates a melancolic urban mood, based on the state of being lost in a world that moves too fast.

Ikebana is a mix of 90's alternative influences and post rock melancolic sounds. Our main influences are Sonic Youth, Sleater Kinney, Interpol, Mogwai, Weezer or more recently Bloc Party.

We played a lot of concerts in Lorraine, around Nancy and Metz since the recording of our first demo in the end of 2004.
