Father Festus won't bore you by claiming to be a cross between Patti Smith and The Cars or any of that amatuer rock reviewer bullshit . We play rock music. When we play live we leave it all on the stage. The songs we write come to us from out of thin air and eventually become compositions we are proud to play for our fans. The band's evolution can be clearly heard as they move from the "beginners with potential" sound of their first record "Represent" to the fuller, more accomplished sound of CD #2 "Shambolic". With ten new songs ready to go, Festus' upcoming record will sure be their best, as they trot out such classics as "Meat Pies and Zapatos" and "Stay at Home". With their energy, humor, and rugged good looks, Father Festus is emerging in a serious fashion.
