Claiming the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders as their main influence for becoming musicians, The DeadEnd Cowboys are a country quartet that throws in a blend of blues and southern rock. Hailing from Southeast Texas, the four members are spread from the buck ranges near San Antonio through Austin (the real music capital) to the farm roads of Galveston County, the band generally calls Houston it's home town. The band was actually formed in Long beach, California, when the two Millers felt the need for a way to relieve a bad case of homesickness for their native Republic of Texas. Getting back to their Southern roots by playing some true Texas country & blues was the answer. After being stranded in Southern Cal, they returned home to Houston and picked up bassist Joe McSweeney; more commonly, and appropriately known as DeadEnd's Low End. Quickly drawing a name for themselves, and a whiskey soaked repuation all the way to Alaska, they finally stumbled across lead guitarist, Scotti Fraser. A Texas country picker freshly returned from Marine Corps duty in Iraq. A bunch of hard working, hard playing Texans, they would clearly consider the theme to the Dukes Of Hazard as being one of the greatest songs ever written. While blasphemy may not allowed in the studio, generous amounts of domestic whiskey is; they are the band that if they moved in next to you...your lawn would die.
