On a random Sunday afternoon in the Mission District of San Francisco, five guys met for the first time in what many people know as the Pink Palace. Their first meeting was quite unusual being that they all came from so many different musical backgrounds. Yet the sound that bumped from the garage was sweet music to the ears of many who walked by. Kapakahi then was formed. Kapakahi is a Hawaiian term that means bent, twisted, and confused.
