In August 2003 Ernesto and Niels decided to jam together. It was fun and noisy but there was something missing: a bassplayer. So after a while Remko was asked to join the band, and we started to write more songs. The Street Punk Gluesniffers From Hell were born!!! Our musical influences include the likes (or dislikes) of: Kyuss, Nirvana, Fu Manchu, The Stooges, Soundgarden and Queens Of The Stone Age. We can't play covers because we are too stupid and too lazy to work them out. After months of rehearsing we finally played a magical(???) show in front of friends and people with no musical taste.
On April 17, 2004 we entered the studio to record a three-song demo. Around the same time we changed the name of the band to STRYCHNINE. One song from the demo appears on a Motorwolf Records compilation. We played more gigs in the area of Leiden and The Hague. In September 2004 we joined the excellent stonerdoom-band Toner Low for a couple of gigs in Luxembourg and Germany.
We like: Alcohol, drugs and blond, blue-eyed girls in mini-skirts (if you are one, please come to our shows!).
We hate: Every'fuckin'thing else.
