To say Shotgun Etiquette is simply a rock band would be misleading. Their music travels through so many styles of rock that the listener feels as if they’ve been pulled into a musical Twilight Zone. There are traces of Zeppelin, Nirvana, GnR, The Clash, even The Beatles and Stones. Yet the music is fresh and interesting…and loud. These boys are full of ideas and they rail against conformity to the “typical” rock scene. It’s almost as if the illegitimate children of Keith Richards, Joe Strummer, John Lennon, and Kurt Cobain got together and started a band.
In an industry glutted with lip-synching media sluts and “radio-friendly” corporate rock, Shotgun Etiquette is locked, loaded, and ready to clean house.
