Influenced by bands as Moondog Jr, dEUS, PJ Harvey, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Bob Dylan, Nick Drake, Suzanne Vega, Joni Mitchell, The Cure etc.., Lut started to write/play/sing songs as a singer-songwriter.
After a while, she wanted to work out those acoustic songs in a band. She went looking for the right musicians, which was hard, but finally she found Steven, Nick & Lucas! DAYSHOP HERO was born...
Some people say that Lut = a chord-inventer. Maybe that's true.
We love to experiment.
We think music doesn't always need a fixed structure, and atonal sounds can be very beautiful and interesting.
Music has to be beautiful, but noises can be beautiful as well.
Some of our songs are quiet, others aren't.
