The band Drowned came together in 1998. After the recorded cd "Art. 1.1 - Morningstar" in 2002 Drowned began their tour across Holland. The best result of this cd was that drowned played at the rock festival 'Fields of Rock'. Drowned played there with Metallica, Stone Sour, Marillyn Manson, Monster Magnet, Disturbed and others. In 2004 the Album Y.O.U. was made. The band played at Parkpop in The Hague and followed up by a Sponsor Tour across many different Mainstages across the Netherlands
In 2006 Drowned will record their fifth album!

Style: Drowned describes their music as alternative rock. The songs are catchy and melodic. There’s much diversity within a strong own style. The lyrics are influenced by love, political reactions and personal developments inside the band. All this diversity makes a performance of Drowned never the same!!
