NOTIZIE PRINCIPALI
IF I DIE is a 5 piece metalcore band from all corners of New Jersey. They combine an inventive blend of hardcore and death metal influences, with anger fed vocals that result in an intense mixture of aggression and fury.
In November of 2003 IF I DIE was formed with former members of Deny All and Deadeverything. A year later with the band playing shows and trying to keep things together numerous members decided to part ways. In December of 2004 with 2 new members Sean and Yarely, the band had completed their line up. With the same goal and expectations in mind they started playing shows immediately and writing new material.... In June 2004 they released a low- budget 3 song sampler titled “IF I DIE”, these samplers where limited and where given out at local venues. Now with having a positive response from venues, the band decided to go into the studio and record their first 8 song EP titled "A Romantic Lead Overdose" in August 2005. After completion, the drummer parted ways due to”personal matters”, finally after only one month, Zack joined completing the present line up. After the releasing of the new EP in October 2005, IF I DIE’s popularity grew; they began getting requested on local college and online radio stations. IF I DIE is on WSOU 89.5FM “Street Patrol’s” regular rotation.
Since the release of the EP the band has played numerous mini-tours and has had responses up to 250 people in and out of state. They have had the honor to share the stage with many bands such as: The Acacia Strain, The Red Chord, Donnybrook, For The Love Of, Between The Buried And Me, Shattered Realm, Hoods, Since The Flood, From A Second Story Window, Misery Index, CDC, 25 Ta Life, Nerve Gas Tragedy, Folly, Strength In Numbers, E-town Concrete to name a few... Their future plans are to continue touring, taking their music up and down the East-Coast’s major cities, record a new CD with new material, and finally one day tour the world.
