Lesson Learned was formed in April of 2004, by Kyle Gordon and Dave Sigmund. Both of whom were unhappy with the direction that popular music was taking. The two decided to form a band with the goal of creating music fueled solely by emotion, and not by money. After cycling through a few unmotivated drummers, they found Kyle Webb in January of 2005. In April of 2005, Lesson Learned found vocalist Shawn Prifogle, and their lineup was finally made permanent.
