In late 2004, guitarist/singer Jon Miele and drummer John McFarland decided it was time to reenter the music scene and establish their second band, joining forces with guitarist Dan Trayer and bassist Alex Zinicola to form Inner Theory. Being highly influenced by bands such as Foo Fighters, Metallica, and Breaking Benjamin, Inner Theory naturally blends these sounds into their own unique style.
