    Since its inception in 2006, Illusion Of Despair has acquired a solid fan base and a sureshot declaration as being one of Australia's most agressive & passionate five piece rock outfit. With plenty of live shows under their belt and more to follow I.O.D has gained the respect of the music world both here(in Australia) and in the U.S.A (completing two compillation albums) as well as two EP'S gauranteed to ruffle feathers & split hairs! The EP has been recognised by major & independent record labels as being one of the most unique sounds to the Australian music industry to date. MGM/Green media distribution has agreed to distribute it through their label at all music stores , (will keep you posted of official release).
