    DAMSEL IN DISMAY
We are a four piece pop/rock band from the Central Coast, NSW
We are influenced by a wide variety of artists and bands like Green Day, 5 Seconds of Summer, The 1975, The Pretty Reckless, Metallica and Tonight Alive.
Guitarist Chloe and lead singer Lucy formed the band in early 2016 since then they have managed to secure bassist Jack and drummer Harley. Their perfect fit has been the catalyst for a very exciting couple of months. The four piece intend to complete writing and record an EP to be ready for release on a planned summer tour 2017.The release of their first single LOSE CONTROL is a testament to their dedication and hard work. The reaction to lose control has been amazing and overwhelming not only in Australia but also abroad we can only hope that with continued determination we see continued success .The start of 2017 has being very fast paced we have played numerous shows and our first festival (GOATS) which was a great experience the crowd was amazing and made us feel so at home can’t wait to get back there but without a doubt the highlight was Youth Rock .We finished first in our heat and joined 7 bands for the grand final. Which was a great achievement for our first year in the comp.We went on to win a recording prize which topped off an already amazing experience and left us determined to go back for 2018
We have completed touring with other popular Aussie acts where we have been able to hone our craft and gain a greater insight into what it takes to make it in this tough industry. Looking to the future we are determined to take our music to the world
