    TOP STORIES
Formed in the summer of 2003 the forefathers of Sidekick’s Downfall began working together under the alias A Better Ending. Towards the end of 2003 A Better Ending became no more. A year later Gerald Solis, Nikk Serrano and Eli Robinson began forming a new band. After many lineup changes and failed attempts at formation the 3 sought after the talents of Evan Freidricks who soon became their newly found Bass Player. They came up with the name Sidekick’s Downfall and By December 2004 the four began working together on songs that Mr. Serrano had previously written. Club 201 is local lounge found right in the heart of Kissimmee. It was here that the boys originally played as A Better Ending and it was here that the newly formed Sidekick’s Downfall would also play their debut show in the January of 2005. The show was quite lame, but soon that would change as the boys gained confidence and willingness to look like idiots in front of their peers. For five months Sidekick’s downfall played a few shows around Kissimmee and continued writing new songs. Towards the beginning of summer 2005 they decided it was time to head into the recording studio to record their first compilation of songs. The songs would soon be used basically as separate demos / EPs / whatever. June 2005 the band decided it was time for a new addition to the band. Eli’s good friend and well experienced piano player Jordan Debord was soon added to the SKDF family. The band took June off in order to get their new keyboardist acquainted with the songs. July of 2005 is when the band really started getting serious. They started sending out demos and booking shows wherever they could find them. The band started branching out into other areas of Florida, such as Altamonte Springs, Tampa, and Orlando. Along the way they have made friends in many areas in the central Florida Region. on september the band pick up there lead singer greg cristovich. From late July through the present Sidekick’s Downfall has been working on new songs and working on bettering their stage performance in order to release their first full length CD hopefully by early summer of 2006. The band looks forward to playing lots of shows throughout 2006 and showing everyone how much they love doing what they do.
