    TOP STORIES
"America’s band against drunk driving" (www.myspace.com/la_rockers)... "LA's best new band 2006" (James James, Speak EZ Radio)… "Eggshell Egoz is colorful, creative and all original get ready for a flavored addiction" (Shawn Plunket, Flare Magazine). In September of 2001 Eggshell Egoz was formed by David Whitton and David Walker. Through cellos, saxophones, trumpets, and congas, they searched for tools to create a new feeling, positive messages and a lotsa love to a dreary music scene. Dale Vix, the first building block, brings his pop-slapping bass and
warm grooves, throwing attitude around with each lick. Jay Setar, the ultimate compliment, uses edgy double kicks and a snappy snare to fill out the rhythm section. The Egoz outer shell is harder and heavier, enter Rodney Amieva. A Metal player by trade Rod opens that egg and takes it off the respirator, we are Eggshell Egoz. Our music is a blend of rock, funk and pop; a collage of art, music, and literature, blended together to create a melodic, euphoric sound. We can be found at many coffee houses, bars, festivals, art shows or for that matter in the middle of the desert jammin away. We can be heard on over 1500 college radio stations, over 50 websites including myspace, gigmasters, bandzoogle, etc… We have been billed with acts such as Liz Phair, The Spin Doctors, and Quincy Jones. Our anthology of music consists of over 40 original songs and their tale can only be told through a narrative of lyrics.
