    TOP STORIES
The light were born out of the indies Pop-Rock sound.

Their songs are inspired by the Beatles for the lyrics and the Rolling Stones for the rhythms and one of a kind riffs.

The light were formed in Paris 2002 by two brothers RAYSON.
Christopher on lead vocals and James on rhythm guitar.

Ten years of collaboration before their arrival in the Capital made it easier to put together a set list of songs.

Alexis Legris was recruited on bass and then the band found it's final members with the arrival of Stephane Guillaume on lead Guitar with his mindblowing riffs and Mathieu Bruit on drums.

After long hours of rehearsal the LIght started gigging in and around Paris.

In January 2005 the band went to England to cut their first real demo; a six track called Never Happened.
Whilst there they played to an all English crowd, the first time for some members of the band.

During the promoting of the CD, the brothers RAYSON had the opportunity to go to Spain and do a Live Acoustic session on REM radio Malaga.

Since that time there have been a few changes in the line up.

Alexis and Mathieu have now been and gone.

The Light now welcome Romain on drums and are auditioning for the next, right, bassist to join THE LIGHT.
