    TOP STORIES
Started back in 2004 by AJ and Tom, the two met as friends at a local high school. The two came together and started to jam and then decided to take it one step further and try to make a band. After the two guitarist came together, it was time to look for a drummer. Tom remembered his friend Bob who was coming off of a band breakup. Now the band started to come together almost as one but there was still something missing, a bass player. They went through many others before Chris came along and showed the three that he had what they were lookng for. So the four came together to form something that would later become everything to them.

Known early as The Secrecy Effect. They faced early struggles of criticism and in-band arguments. They knew to reach the level they were wishing for, A change needed to be made.

Creative differences with former members left them in search of a vocalist. Soon after AJ stepped up to take on vocal duties. With Tom providing the backing vocals and screams. "We knew it was easier to break down the 2 areas of our vocal performance to both of us and have eachother more concentrated on one stage of it." said AJ. This new change of events is just what the band needed. Bonds were formed and creativity came easier. The marked the occasion by taking on a new identity. A Flatline Memory

Since then A Flatline Memory has been playing as much shows as they possibly can making more and more friends along the way. They've also released a 6-song EP. This is not a band who follows the trend on the way they dress and sing. They fight to be welcomed in different genre's of music. Even today A Flatline Memory is still playing across the Tri-State area and far as New York, to Michigan, down to Florida. There shows are filled with intensity that in mostly uncontrollable. As Tom says "Anything that happens on stage with us is never pre-rehearsed. All the excitement comes naturally and theres no better way to do it. We're fighting for this, why not show it?"
