    Formed around the turn of the century near Chicago, Illinois (USA), SAD EYED ANGEL is still going strong with their unique brand of Metal, infusing some songs with the Chicago Blues sound. SAD EYED ANGEL started out in 1999 and as momentum picked up, the band found itself gaining fans and friends while writing songs, recording demos, and eventually selling out local venues. It was then time to hit the road and Sad Eyed Angel offically started touring with what little money the band could budget and soon after recording a few demos, Lead Guitarist N8 Kinney left to go to school to learn the music biz and Studio Engineering in Tempe, AZ. Upon returning, SAD EYED ANGEL cut their first full length record "Buried face Down"at Gremlin Studio, in Aurora Illinois. Sad Eyed Angel has been an extremely independent band in the past. Making acquaintances and contacts after contacts that promise but never followed through, Sad Eyed Angel remains an indie act that has managed themselves and their budget on their own. The industry is changing and thanks to the internet and buisness' like CD Baby, more and more quality indie musicians are able to get their music out to the demographics they cater to. People are buying music online now and not exclusively in record stores. Still recording and releasing new material, the ever evolving metal act hits stages across the Midwest with their smoke-spewing zombies and face melting stage presence. Landing spots on festivals and spots as opening acts for national touring bands has pushed Sad Eyed Angel even further into the game. Sticking to their guns has earned them the respect of their fans and Sad Eyed Angel is and will always be an evolving metal act that is strong and moving - true music that defines the American Metal sound.
