    With so much of todays charts dominated by the same old 4/4 ultra polished candy pop, and mindless hours of doof doof and R&B, we felt it time to write without the constraints of standard pop. If a song sounds right at 1 minute 30 seconds, then the song should be 1 minute 30 seconds. Why waste everyones time trying to stretch it out with another solo, or add extra lyric when the story has already been told. Likewise if a riff needs to be revisited, then revisit it. Nor does a song have to remain in 4/4 time just because thats where it started.
