aPPleDecision was born in year 2000 when Pat (guitar and vocals), his brother Mirko (bass and vocals) and Buz (drums and vocals) decided to give birth to this project. It was not their first musical experience, as they had already played together during schooltime. Furthermore, Pat and Mirko had both been singers in other bands before they joined in aPPleDecision, collecting a lot of live concert experiences. It had always been a dream to arrange and play their own songs, and this dream came true with aPPleDecision. They performed several live concerts both in Public Bars and Open Air Festivals. But only in December 2001 they could finally present their first album completely self produced, recorded and mixed and featuring 10 original songs. "Above the Liestorm" (the album's title) is a collection of tracks composed over the past 5 years. Every member of the band writes music, even though some songs are born during free improvisation. The musical style is a combination of hard and soft rock, with different influences which give personality to their music. The use of acoustic instruments in alternation to distorted guitars, shows the classical roots of the band members, and musically remarks the strong message of the lyrics. The Band is presently working on it’s new Albung containing several new original songs composed during the last and current year, outcoming in spring 2003.
