    I “The Tracks” nascono nel luglio 2004, grazie all’incontro tra Alex Hare (chitarra-voce), Andrew Bucks(batteria-voce), Julian Grocers(chitarra-pianoforte) e Manuel Tevar (basso). Cominciano subito a creare canzoni fino a formare un repertorio di più di 20 pezzi propri, che si avvicinano a un genere da loro stessi definito “grunge’n’roll”. Nel dicembre 2004 pubblicano il loro primo cd autoprodotto: “What’s the way of rock’n’roll?”, in cui sono presenti 14 brani originali. Obiettivo del cd,come si può capire dal titolo, è domandarsi e analizzare quale sia il futuro del rock’n’roll e i “The Tracks” sono giunti ad una risposta molto personale.
