Falling Through began in September of 2004 when two music enthusiasts came together for a common passion, to create great rock music that would make listeners want more. They started as just individuals, Dan Cowgill a songwriter who had been playing guitar for 6 years, with his solo project Charm 73 had already written a few songs. In need of a vocalist, Dan met with a mutual friend, who directed him to Erich Harrison, who would later be recruited for his powerful vocals. Immediately, after only a few hours of playing, a musical connection was made. In need of a rhythm section to the band they quickly added an amazing drummer in Beau Taylor (formally from Rabbits with glasses), who immediately helped form the sound of the band. After looking for someone to take over the role of lead guitar, Bryant Ortiz came into the picture helping to shape the bands sound even more with his metal riffs, and his lightning fast solos. Adding to the rhythm section was bassist Dave Barkow, who after playing with Falling Through for a few months moved out of state to California. After searching for another bass player, and even contemplating not playing with one, they were referred to Mike McMahon. After a strong musical connection at the first try out, Mike was asked to join the band, increasing the energy, and the stage presence of the band. With all these ingredients, Falling Through is ready to blow listeners away with their crunching guitars, powerful vocals, and thumping drums. This is Falling Through Erich Harrison, Bryant Ortiz, Dan Cowgill, Beau Taylor, and Mike McMahon.
