Founded in fall 2006, VertiKal is a hard hitting 10-piece hip-hop/jazz band who's members appreciate & play all styles of music, equally integrating old school funk, latin & rock with new interpretations of hip-hop and jazz. Live, they always bring the heat! While carefully considering a positive message and GOOD music with integrity, they attract a variety of listeners in the Chicago live music scene, drawing larger crowds with each gig.
