    The Swing is made up of Ian (vocals,guitar) sam (bass) and Alex (drums). Formed circa 1999, when they were in the the 6th grade, Ian, Sam, and Alex began something that would, despite any differences in thought or belief, bond them together, giving them a slightly awakward presence. The only words to describe the songs of the band would be "feeling". The Swing's raw power and difference is what makes them stand out against their contemporaries which follow the trend of mimics and gimics. The Swing has no gimic, only a presence of feeling which is the only thing the band wishes its audience to hear, see, or feel.
