    À LA UNE
The Senticsphere emerged from Vancouver’s North Shore when the paths of four determined musicians with a common dream, to write and share their music with the world, crossed in late 2004. It was then that singer Warren Hall, guitarist Roy Benetti, bassist Chris Poole, and drummer Sean Welch began to collaborate in the project that would soon change all of their lives. The initial experience, creativity and chemistry that came with each member was undeniably a driving force in the formation of this band’s distinguishable sound and character.

After two months, with more than a dozen songs written, the band went straight into the studio to record their debut EP “Waking the Sun”. It was then that their paths crossed with audio engineer Jason Mauza (Foo Fighters, A Perfect Circle, Everclear, Kiss, etc.). The band approached him to ask if he knew anyone who might be interested in recording their EP. Jay went to one of the band’s practices and after hearing several of their songs, was as excited to take on the recording as the band was to have him onboard. It was not until they started recording that the band found out about Jason’s extensive recording career with some of the industry’s top artists.

Since the completion of The Senticsphere’s debut EP, they have exploded onto the Vancouver music scene playing several sold out shows at some of Vancouver’s top live-music venues, alongside CFOX's Vancouver Seeds winners. They secured distribution with online retailers such as CD-Baby and iTunes and ranked in the top 10% of nearly 10,000 songs on the highly garnered site GarageBand.com. They have received awards for Track of the Day, Best Male Vocals in Hard Rock, and Best Programming in Hard Rock on GarageBand.com and had their song “More” placed on the 2008 Gazza Nationals Motorsport Vol. 2 DVD based out of Australia. In addition to signing with publisher FileUnderMusic, they are also slotted for another soundtrack spot on an upcoming independent film. They are currently working on their second recording with Jason Mauza, writing the best material of their careers, and booking a tour for the summer of 2008.

With catchy, powerful songs and an explosive live show that leaves audiences wanting more, The Senticsphere is turning heads amongst music fans and industry professionals alike. Their songs are universal and speak to the hearts and minds of all who stop to listen. Filled with a fire that burns stronger than ever before, The Senticsphere is capturing the eyes and ears of people of all ages and will stop at nothing to get their music to the world.
