    The Gavinism:

The Gavinism is a three piece band hailing from the dead spot of Strathalbyn. The three lads have been jamming together in various combinations for the past five years and joined forces to create The G three years ago. Alex has been drumming for about nine years, with Josh close behind on bass for about seven. The two have been playing together for the past six years, with Marty recently joining them on guitar to start writing their special brand of rock.

Pulling influences from some of Australia’s best rock bands as well as the rest of the world has led to a defined sound from the boys, with plenty of kick. Marty and Alex have a musical telepathy connection and when it clicks in the jam room they known they’re onto a winner. Josh provides the unique and ripping bass lines, with all the instruments combining in a loud and clear tone.

All of the original recordings were done at home last year and provide a taste of what the band is really like. There is no substitute for the live shows, with the music setting the pace for the fast and energetic stage performance. The Gavinism comes at you loud and strong, leaving no audience member disappointed.

    Yours Truly,

    Gavin
