    TOPVERSLAGEN
All the members of Against All Odds share the same political opinion and bring this back through powerful messages in the songs. The ability of people to think and handle self-consciously seems to fade away through chaos, uncertainty and unnecessary political frightening from global influences.

The band started in December 2007. The purpose: to start a band with a strong character. No covers, but own creations wherein we express who we are and what we stand for. Accompanied by a firm, solid rock sound with catchy and recognizable riffs that emotivate, but above all: encourage people to think self-consciously. Begin October 2009, Evelien Hoffmann joined the band. As a versatile rock singer she completes the dynamic sound.

Against All Odds won the IJmond Popprijs 2010. After a battle with 17 competing bands, the jury's verdict was: "The teamwork is very good, they have a lot of fun, good dynamics and fine compositions. Technically, they have it all worked out, fresh drums, nice guitars, the bass player goes loose and convincing vocals."

Various musical influences can be heard from the different members, combined into a delicious rock sound. In short: solid rock you can't ignore.
