    Deficit is a young metal band out of Chicago, Illinois that has been together since early 2003. As a matter of fact, their youngest member isnt even old enough to drive, and their oldest is too young to drink. None the less, playing with Static-X, gracing the pages of Revolver Magazine, and headlining countless shows has put this metal act above the local music scene.

    Starting out playing Metallica songs in the basement, Deficit has progressed, and after 1 line up change, evolved into the present: Josh Lloyd (Lead Guitar), Eric Szczezny (Rhythm Guitar/Vocals), Mark Harrison (Bass Guitar/Back-Up Vocals), and Dave Lloyd (Drums).

    After releasing one demo in late 2003, Deficit was due for another. December of 2005 marked a turning point in the career of this young band. On December 21st 05, the new 6 song EP entitled Eternal War was released with great success, and did nothing short of amaze people. One things for certain. Deficit will be a force to reckon with in the very near future.
