    In July of 2005 Erik, former member of Mindfall contacted Chris, former member of Prospect Paradigm when he saw that Chris was looking for people to jam with. Erik knew that his old bass player Tim was also looking for a band so the 3 of them started jamming together quite frequently and things started to sound great. Jess then answered an add for a drummer and he fit in perfectly to the mix. With all members of the band coming from different musical backgrounds, a very unique style was formed. Members of the band describe it as "Alernative Punk with a touch of metal and emo." The band is now starting to play shows and make a name for themselves in the area. Cypher is sure to make a great impression at Emergenza as they hope to win over fans of several different genres.
