    The Brown Mountain Boogie Pickers aim to resurrect the raw, dirty sound of real roots rock, with influences ranging from pioneers like George Jones and Johnny Cash on through to The Band and Supersuckers. Their original tunes' electric bluegrass bounce gets both hillbillies and hipsters up on their feet.

    The Brown Mountain Boogie Pickers' live shows are somewhere between Folsom Prison and Woodstock, with three-minute story songs alongside danceable crowd pleasers. BMBP's versatile lineup sets them apart from other bands: in one set you're likely to hear acoustic, electric and lap steel guitars combined with piano, organ & and bluesy harmonica.
