    TOPVERSLAGEN
Beginning in 2005, Orange County band, Summer Wilshire began as a group of young musicians looking to write catchy songs and see where they wound up. The five member Pop/Rock band looks to emerge onto the scene as a group that expands the limits of Pop music. With their newly released EP entitled, “March of the Sleepers,” Summer Wilshire offers a wide range of catchy melodies and creative time signatures. Stretching from blues/rock jams such as “Robber” to the warmer laid back tracks of “Shake,” and “March of The Sleepers.” Summer Wilshire is just beginning to establish a name for themselves around Orange County. Lead singer/songwriter and guitarist, Brad Owens wrote many of the songs on the album at as early an age as 14. The band members, now all around the age of 19, are all experienced musicians who have been playing for many years. With more songs on the way, Summer Wilshire hopes to make a bigger appearance on the music scene in 2007. As for what they have in store for the new year, Brad Owens says, “I just try to write songs that melt girls hearts. If I can do that, we should do just fine.”
