All four members of JuRan’s Oath grew up in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles , California. Driven by influences from both classical and contemporary artists, the band was formed after guitarist, Randal Warren, started fusing his sound with vocalist, Joel Echols, during their freshman year at Granada Hills High School. Drummer, Ben Max, joined the band three years later during their senior year and shortly after that the band added its final piece in bassist, Trevor Arroyo. In what seemed like no time at all, JuRan’s Oath was playing up and down the Sunset strip in Hollywood at venues like The Roxy and Key Club in front of as many as 800 fans.

JuRan’s Oath is motivated by its pure love for music and the chance to spread its own inspirational music to hearts all over the world. The band strives for success in hopes that one day they can share that success with the ones closest to them. Inspiration is the key ingredient in JuRan’s Oath, as the lyrics and riffs created seek to inspire the generations of music that will follow, as did the generations before them. The band does not limit itself to one genre of music but rather uses influence from all sorts of genres to create its own unique sound that fits perfectly in the dynamic industry of today. The core aspects of classic rock, pop, alternative rock, and hip hop are all featured in JuRan’s Oath and fans of all types of music can’t seem to deny the catchy tunes produced by the group. When asked what comes to mind when one hears the name JuRan’s Oath many would question the names origin, but the band would say “it’s like nothing you’ve ever heard before.”
