Background:
When Bubbling Beards frontman Joakim Rosenlund left the band in 2010 the future of his music career seemed to be no more.
After two years of pause from music, focusing on studies he 2012 joined the band POPLÖST becoming their fifth member as their keyboardist.
It wasn't until one of Poplöst's concerts in early 2012 when Rosenlund opened for them with a few songs of his own that people started noticing him and his husky voice.
He decided he wanted the world to hear his music and created a soundcloud page for his rustic voiced tunes and melancholic lyrics.
People seemed to like his sound and Rosenlund decided he wanted to release an album. The album "Still Alive" was released on Spotify and iTunes in November 2013 and was treated with really good response from people from all over the world.
And the 8th of February Rosenlund will perform at one of Malmoes bigger scenes, Babel , as Joe & The Anchor. But he will not be alone. To be able to give the audience the maximal performance he will bring along Robin Zhang from Sorcerer´s Pyramid and Viktor Edsjö from Poplöst.
